What the studio will and will not produce
Acceptable Use Policy.
EFFECTIVE 21 JULY 2026 · CINEFOLIO.DEV
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs what you may create, upload, and publish with CineFolio Studios ("CineFolio", "the studio", "we"). CineFolio is operated by Mohammed Ait El Qadi, an independent operator based in Budapest, Hungary. This AUP is part of, and incorporated into, the Terms of Service. If any use is not permitted here, it is not permitted on CineFolio. Questions or reports go to info@cinefolio.dev.
01What CineFolio does, in one line
CineFolio is a self-serve tool that turns your resume and your own photos into a personal portfolio website. Our AI pipeline generates images and video, but every generated scene derives only from photos the customer uploads of themselves. The pipeline is built so that a person's face may come only from the assets that person uploaded. This is a hard rule of the product, not a preference, and everything below follows from it.
02The likeness rule
The single most important rule on CineFolio is about whose face appears in generated imagery.
- Self-likeness only. AI-generated images and video may depict only the customer who placed the order. The pipeline uses the customer's uploaded photos strictly as identity references to generate stylized scenes of that same person. It does not synthesize the face of anyone else.
- You warrant your rights. By uploading a photo, you represent and warrant that the person shown is you, or that you hold that person's explicit, current consent and all rights necessary for CineFolio to process the image and generate scenes from it. You are responsible for holding that consent if we ask to see it.
- No third-party likenesses. Do not upload or attempt to generate the likeness of any person who has not consented, including public figures, celebrities, colleagues, or private individuals.
- No stock or scraped faces. Do not upload photos you found online, purchased, or otherwise do not have the right to use as an identity reference.
03Prohibited uses
You may not use CineFolio, and may not upload, generate, host, or publish content, for any of the following:
- Sexual or NSFW content. No nudity, sexually explicit material, sexualized depictions of any person, or content that is pornographic or intended to be. This applies to uploads and to anything the pipeline is asked to generate.
- Third-party likenesses without consent. No images or video of a person other than the consenting customer, as set out in section 02.
- Impersonation and deepfakes. No content that impersonates another person, or that is designed to make a real person appear to say or do something they did not.
- Deceptive resumes or credentials. No fabricated employment, fake degrees, invented certifications, or portfolio content presented as your work that is not. CineFolio is a tool for presenting a real person truthfully.
- Illegal content. Nothing unlawful in Hungary or in your jurisdiction, and nothing that infringes another party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Child sexual abuse material. Absolutely prohibited without exception. Suspected CSAM is removed and reported to the appropriate authorities.
- Hate, harassment, and violence. No content that promotes hatred, harassment, or violence against people based on protected characteristics, and no content that threatens or incites harm.
- Fraud, scams, and malware. No phishing, no scams, no distribution of malware, and no using a published site to deceive visitors.
- Platform abuse. No probing, overloading, scraping at scale, or otherwise attacking or circumventing the platform or its limits.
04Moderation of generated content
CineFolio moderates both what is uploaded and what is generated.
- Automated checks. Uploaded photos and generated images and video pass through automated safety checks that screen for the categories prohibited above, including sexual content and known illegal material. Content that fails is blocked before it reaches a premiere.
- Human review. Flagged or reported items are reviewed by a person before any enforcement decision. A human reads every abuse report.
- Reporting abuse. Anyone can report content that appears to violate this AUP. Email info@cinefolio.dev with the address of the film and a short description. Reports about impersonation or non-consensual likeness are treated as urgent.
05Enforcement
When content or conduct breaks this AUP, we act in proportion to the violation. Depending on severity we may:
- Refuse or block a generation request;
- Unpublish or delete a film or specific scenes, with notice where practicable;
- Suspend or terminate the account;
- Report unlawful content to the relevant authorities.
Refunds and violations. No refund is due for content removed, or accounts suspended or terminated, because of a violation of this AUP. Serious or repeated violations, and any illegal content, can result in immediate termination without refund. Where an account is terminated for reasons unrelated to a violation, the ordinary refund policy applies. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
06Changes
We may update this AUP as the product and the law evolve. Material changes are announced on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
